TPO: Iran’s shipment to Oman set to hit USD1B by end of current year

(MENAFN) Chief of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) stated that the worth of the nation’s shipment of non-oil outputs to the Sultanate of Oman is going to reach one billion dollars before the begging of the new Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2023).

Mehr News Agency mentioned in a report that Alireza Payman-Pak placed the nation’s shipment of non-oil outputs to Oman in the opening four months of the ongoing year (March 21-July 22) at USD415 million, stating that the number can be increased to one billion dollars.

For this drive, a workshop named “Iran-Oman Trade” was hosted in Tehran on August 3 with the attendance of senior administrators from both parties such as the chief of TPO, the director-general of TPO’s West Asian department, the deputy ambassador of Oman to Tehran, Iran’s commercial attaché to Oman, chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce, head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) and representatives of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) in addition to Export Guarantee Fund of Iran (EGFI).
