Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman meets with Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement leader Ammar al-Hakim. (SPA)

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement leader Ammar al-Hakim in Jeddah where they discussed bilateral ties, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.

The meeting, which was attended by Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman, also addressed issues of mutual interest.

Saudi National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed al-Aiban, the Kingdom’s envoy to Iraq, Abdulaziz al-Shammari, and al-Hakim’s deputy, Mohsen al-Hakim, also attended the meeting.

Al-Hakim arrived in Saudi Arabia on Thursday where he was welcomed by Saudi Arabia’s deputy foreign minister Waleed al-Khuraiji upon landing in King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
